Coffee Morning / Food Bank

COVID-19 UPDATE (January 2021): Due to recent increased prevalence of Covid19 in the Gwersyllt area, Foodbank at our church building is suspended until further notice. Clients can still ask their agencies issuing vouchers to liaise directly with the Foodbank warehouse to request home delivery. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible and will be notified on this website.

Each Wednesday morning between 10 am and noon we have an open coffee morning. Join us for a cuppa, biscuit, round of toast or the occasional cake! Remember strangers are just friends you’ve yet to make. There’s no charge for refreshments, but any contributions given go to Project Odessa (you can ask us about that when you’re here).

Alongside coffee morning we also run the Gwersyllt food bank. A satellite of the main Wrexham Foodbank that operates under the national Trussell Trust scheme, locally issued food vouchers (though not from our church) can be exchanged for packs of basic foodstuffs. This facility is for folk who need a helping hand for a few days and from time to time. Our food bank is open at the same time as coffee morning.

Both facilities are held in our downstairs rooms, and are accessed by the middle door at the side of the building.
