Cefn Mawr Christian Fellowship

is a church plant that originated out of the burden of some members of Gwersyllt Congregational Church who lived in Cefn and wanted to reach their local community. Meetings are usually held in “The Old Canteen” (also known as CRNCA) Plas Kynaston Lane, Cefn Mawr, LL14 3AT.

The Meeting Place "The Meeting Place" is a meeting currently held on the first Sunday of each month. It is arranged in a cafe-style and designed to be accessible for all.

Starts at 9:45 for prayer and worship and 10:15 for visitors with tea, coffee, cakes, chatting and then a mix of gospel-centred presentation and discussion on an appropriate theme.

Fellowship Meetings and Social Evening On Thursday evenings each week, CMCF meets for fellowship and Bible Study.

One week each month is a more social time. Outreach Events Throughout the year, special outreach events are organised.

Sunday Mornings

We’d love to welcome you to our Sunday services! At 10:30am every Sunday you can expect to see people of all ages singing, hearing the Bible read, listening to a talk on the Bible and enjoying tea and (good!) coffee afterwards. There are children’s groups that run during the service for 0-11 year olds.

Children & Young People

There are a range of activities for children and young people run by members of the church both on Sundays and during the week. We’d love to meet you and point you in the direction of the right group for your child. Come along on a Sunday or get in touch via the ‘Contact Us’ link.

Community Groups

As Christians we believe that we grow in our faith through studying the Bible, together. One of the main ways we do that is by meeting weekly in ‘community groups.’ These are usually kindly hosted in the homes of members of the church in the Gwersyllt, Bradley, and Summerhill areas.
